Our master bathroom is finally done!! It was our most complicated DIY project to date, just because we had to move/add some plumbing. We have never attempted that before. It was extremely hard to get a before picture of the bathroom because it was 2 small tight spaces. One was a walkthrough vanity area and the other was the toilet, sink and stall shower.

Set a Budget – Decide how much money you can or are willing to spend on this bathroom remodeling project, then distribute your budget to each renovation according to your priority list. Keep in mind that unexpected expenses may arise during the project, so it’s wise to just work on the necessary renovations first and see if you have any budget left for the minor things after the main remodeling work is done, rather than spending all your allowance on everything at once in the beginning.

Perhaps the most common choice on designing the bathing room is by setting up pedestal sinks. This particular component usually are an excellent alternative, specifically on small bathrooms. These types of sinks consume less space or room, and they also help to make a small bathroom appear more prominent. They also have an elegant charm that is bring-in a classic style into the bathing room and therefore works perfectly with any decoration. In case you’re engaged on this element, you can easily find them at your local home improvement center for many different price.

Virtually any material can be used to surface walls and floors in the bathroom as long as it’s waterproof, either naturally or by means of an impervious finish. Depending on your budget and style, ceramic, marble, and granite tiles make handsome and highly durable flooring and wall surfaces for baths. For flooring additional options may include cement (painted or stained), sheet vinyl or vinyl tiles which are inexpensive and look better than used to. Whatever your choice, always mind another key criteria for choosing your bathroom flooring: durability and slip-resistance.

Cabinet Box: The cabinet box is generally touted as ‘all plywood’ and it is. However, the plywood itself is purchased with low price in mind, so it is common to experience peeling veneers and severely warped panels. Furthermore, the interior coatings used to finish the plywood are of low quality, so the interior generally has a ‘starved’ and coarse look/feel.
