Do you ever wish you can redo a room in your home? What is holding you back? Many of us fear the cost of home improvements. We refuse to look outside the box. I was one of the countless homeowners who want to remodel but do not have the available funds to do so. But there are many solutions available if you just think outside the box.
When we remodeled our kitchen last year these Hanging Pendant Lighting fixtures were the first things I wanted to add to replace our old fashioned ceiling lights, You have a great selection here. At this point I had been in the interior design field long enough to know that I should have ALL my finishes and paint colors selected before starting on anything. I went to a local tile showroom and grabbed way too many samples (tile samples are heavy, ya’ll!).
Pictures should also be hung in a way that is proportional to their location. A single small picture hung over a sofa will not look right. Neither will two small ones spread too far about. They will be out of balance. We have a tall cabinet in our bathroom, giving us some space to put the towels and a drawer to throw pretty much everything else in lol.
Unwanted sounds in a home or garden can create an unnecessarily stressful environment that clouds your thoughts and can put you in a bad mood. White noise is a great way to neutralize that cacophony. Mosaic tile can add a rich look to your space. You don’t need a lot to make a big statement. Try it as an accent in the shower or tub area, or as a backsplash in a half bath. Replace the dated light fixtures and frame out the large mirror. At some point down the rental road we will also replace the floor.

I splurged in two areas—one big and one small. I upgraded my plumbing fixtures, and I also spent about $180 on a custom shower curtain from It’s the first thing people comment on when they see our bathroom.
